Hosting and Security

Marches & Gnats (MnG) runs on a virtual private server (VPS) hosted by Hetzner, located in Germany. All data is regularly backed up to an off-site location.

All website traffic is encrypted and served via SSL (HTTPS).

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services are used:

• GoatCounter (on every page): privacy-focused analytics to understand general usage trends. Data is used to improve the service.

Data Sharing

No user data (e.g. email addresses, username) is shared with third parties, except as required technical functionality.

Cookies

MnG uses cookies solely to manage user sessions. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach, you will be promptly informed with details of what happened, what data may have been affected, and what steps are being taken to prevent recurrence.

Data Retention

User data is retained only as long as necessary to operate the service and fulfill legal obligations. Deleted accounts and associated data are removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

Children's Privacy

MnG is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
